The restaurant pizzeria La Galea was born in 2003 from a family dream: to welcome tourists from all over the world to the heart of Amalfi by offering the best of the culinary tradition of our land. Strengthened by our roots, we set out on this adventure more than 20 years ago with the same passion and enthusiasm that we still have today.

Peppe & Rosaria

Rosaria and her husband Peppe are, together with Andrea and Gelsomina, the most familiar faces to customers at Ristorante La Galea. With their work at the reception and in the hall they are always ready to welcome with a smile.

Giggino & Rita

In the kitchen as in life, Chef Giggino and Rita, Rosaria and Andrea’s sister, as good husband and wife, rule the kitchen together, preparing traditional dishes rich in taste, together with Chef Andrea, to introduce the flavours of our land to tourists from all over the world. Also helping in the kitchen is Modu, from Senegal to Amalfi with all his enthusiasm.

Andrea & Gelsomina

Andrea and Gelsomina, husband and wife, also run the hall. They are the ever cheerful and lively smile that greets guests at lunch and dinner and makes them enjoy a meal according to tradition.
